Tactics for dealing with Trump: Ignore Trump. He feeds off controversy. Literally pretend like he doesnt exist and push your message. When asked about Trump take the high road-- he's a good guy but not the man for the job. When asked about his insults to you, you say hes a good guy trying to do whatever he can to win.
Desantis has other problems, but trying to play on t$ meme turf was a biggly mistake. |

All of the aforementioned shit isn't something a conservative or libertarian would do. Trump sycophants need to come to terms with that, and that we can do better. While it's true that he wasn't as bad as FHRC, and did a few good things, that's not saying much and it's no reason to settle on a not as bad D. I know, "but he loves me." |

For anybody paying attention, this is why Desantis is losing. All it took was threats/lawfare to get some sound bites that kinda say what you wanted to hear. If there was no fraud in the election. Why did they have to plant pipe bombs and incite a riot on J6 to prevent Congress from discussing the validity of the election? Why did they lie about so much that happened that day too? You're arguing something no one has claimed. There is fraud in every election. DeSantis's government prosecuted cases of it in fact. The issue is, did it cost him the election. To date there hasn't been a single bit of compelling evidence it did, and in fact lots of official testimony made under oath, that it didn't. Considering that Trump only won his 2016 election by 107,000 votes across Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, please explain why, after 4 years of "making heads explode", that it's unreasonable to think Trump's own actions and lack of popularity/likability cost him the 2020 election. |
