Channel 11 in Houston just showed a clip for news at 10PM.
Volunteers helping the "evacuees" at the Astrodome got carjacked.
What a sweet way to reward people trying to help out
Ok now all you bleeding hearts come on and tell us how they evacuees have nothing and this is justified. I'm sure they were only after the water in the cars windshield washer

They didn't get carjacked, the burden of automobile ownership was removed...

I hope it was a CHL holder that shot back at the prick.

People should know that TX isn't the place to be looting and carjacking...

Unbelievable. Anyone like that is not even worthy of receiving help.

And they're busing 25,000 of these people here to Dallas.

Oh wait, today is September 1st! I can keep a handgun in my car without a permit now!

Correction - you always could, unconcealed at that - it is just that the new law prevents the prosecutors from distorting the definition of travelling

The guy was serving food to help these folks from his car.

They also just reported some looting, however it did not go into that.
