Agreed.  Not a fan of the first one but I really liked Devil's Rejects.

Fearless

Two different kinds of movies.

"Corpses" was a horror show with victims at the mercy of a family of crazies.

"Rejects" tried to make the crazies -- now on the run from the law -- sympathetic. It mostly didn't work. Mostly.

Know your Bill Moseley Trivia: Bill Moseley -- AKA Otis P. Driftwood -- played Johnnie ("They're coming to get you, Barbara!") in the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead.

wow.

I really liked house of 100 corpses as well (more so than Devils rejects).

I'm surprised at the number of people who thought Devils Rejects was better.

my gf and I are horror movie fans.  She thought Devils Rejects was a better movie due to it's realism.

and I agree it appeared that Rob Zombie attempted to humanize the crazy family.  They became Byronic heroes of a sort.

btw, I didn't think that Sherri Moon was as hot in TDR as she was in House of1k corpses.

I watched them in the wrong order and felt distinctively "let down" by House of a Thousand Corpses....... Loved Devils Rejects!  Someone give me clue as to where rejects was supposed to go... I was kind of drunk towards the end....

ummm, They all died? All of them were shot to death in a hailstorm of gun fire while charging a roadblock. Devils Rejects was good but was not a "Horror Movie" although it was a sequel to one.

House of 1000 Corpses = Horror + Gore + hot chick = good horror movie.

I will have to check out the sequal then, the first was a bit to corny for my taste.
