he wants the money fast...but if I can find out the value is good enough, I will front him the money he needs to hold out for a bigger profit and he can pay me back. ETA: He showed it to me and its 95% condition. It has no signs of wear except for one quarter inch scratch on the foreend. |

Actually that's not a bad idea. Go to the pawn shop with him, let him get a quote from them and loan him the same amount with you holding the gun as collateral. He gets some quick $$, you don't have to shell out a fortune, it won't take as long to get your $$ back, and your buddy won't lose the gun to a pawn dealer if he can't come up with the $$ quick enough. Win-win. |
