Okay, here is what I need help with this time.

My uncle owns a hunting lodge and has put me in charge of creating a little web page for it. I have most of the html type work done, at first using notepad, and then uploading it to geocities to let my friends see it/help out.

What I need to know is how to best go about finding a place to host my sight, and I also need to get a domain name (The www.name.com thing)

If you want to see my lousy page

I use Global Knowledge Group to register my domain names.

I do some small time hosting, low bandwidth, (hoping to grow some more) its a small business of mine.

I would look around, do a search on web hosting...

of course, I wouldn't mind more customers either [:D] especially gun related sites.

I have hosted several with OLM www.olm.net and have been very pleased.  They will also register the domain for you, which is very helpful come renewal time.  They have plans starting at 9.99 a month which is all you would need.  Give them a try.

Oh, BTW, they have very good support which is available 24X7.

If you're looking for hosting, contact me offline.

In addition to being an LEO, I own a design/hosting firm that specializes in public safety/personal security/Pro 2A stuff. We have reasonable rates starting at .15 per MB per month. PHP, MySQL, CGI, your own Control Panel, email, etc.
