Probably Texas only at this point.

I think the BIg Eye is just OK;  I find the Sculpin a tad more flavorful.  I haven't tried nor seen the two on the right.  Regardless, enjoy your haul!

I am currently enjoying one from that collection.

Dogfish Head IPA.

Drinking IPA makes me a hoppy camper.

Hebrew makes some good stuff.

As for the OP, definitely a good haul. I've had all of those except the two on the right.  And the response about Lakewood and Deep Ellum... also good stuff!

I have Ranger and Accumulation in the frige now, and I'm drinking Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye IPA.  This is good shit!

Nice haul fellow HH.

Of those you have, Big Eye would be my #1 followed by Ranger, then Rampant.

Haven't had whiplash or the Diesel Punk though.

I thought Celebration was just OK.

I don't like the 2013 Celebration either.  2011 was the best.

MIssing a bunch of good IPA's but Rampant is a good one.  I wish Rogue Brewery extended down here, many a fine beer.

Sierra Nevada Celebration is a classic IPA, and you really can't lose with any of the Dogfish Head offerings.

Well done!

We just cracked the newly released Bell's Hopslam IPA, and it's a true jewel.

Carry on,
Brian

Oh my...  there is still hope my friend...  I was once lost but have now been found...  allow me to expand on my journey to hoppiness...

My experience with IPAs has been this: when I first tried an IPA I hated it.. couldn't finish the bottle. I don't know why but perhaps it was because I didn't understand the science behind why it tastes the way it tastes.

IPAs are a hoppy style of beer because India bound ales needed lots of hops to preserve the beer for the long journey to India from Great Britain. There are many many varieties of hops... some are aromatic and flavorful and not very acidic while others are very acidic but not flavorful or aromatic. The bitterness of the beer is measured in IBUs, so the higher the IBU number the more bitter the beer is. However don't let that number fool you... I have had beers that were in 90s and where so aromatic and flavorful that the bitterness was kind of in the background. I have also had low IBU beers that were very bitter because they lacked flavor and aroma.

In my case there was a very happy ending... one day a gentleman down the road brought me a bottle of Three Floyds Zombie Dust. Knowing that I wasn't an IPA fan I tried it anyway... it was literally a religious experience. There are moments in our life we will never forget: kids being born, first time you got laid, the day you get married, etc. One of those moments for me was my first bottle of 3 Fs Zombie Dust. I never knew a good IPA could be such an eye opener. I felt like I was missing out on something all my life and I had so much now to make up for.
