Heavy-handed small town sheriff investigated in hit-and-run

http://www.wctv.tv/home/headlines/40042992.html

Gotta love it.

Janklow ended up getting some prison time didn't he? (Not much though IIRC). Wasn't it a fatality? Car v Motorcycle?

Reading the readers comments on these two stories gives you the feeling that this type of crap goes on all the time in Wakulla county. I can't see what story Sheriff Harvey can come up with to justify leaving the scene.
