My only question is at what level do you actually get fired as a Police officer ??

Any single one of the violations that he's had would get me canned in a heartbeat.  

Wow, that's pretty bad.

I take it he has leverage ??

Dirty pictures of the Police Chief in comprimising situations with farm animals or something equilivant ?

It would seem like he would be almost useless as a police officer with that history. Filing face reports, staging assaults, etc. He has no credibility. Defense lawyers would eat that shit up.

I want to know one thing.  


Why do you guys always post stories from the UK Daily Mail?   It's like the National Enquirer on crack as far as credibility goes.

Heck, Russian news media is more respectable.

A little background on Opa-locka:

The racial makeup of the city was 22.83% White (3.1% non-Hispanic Whites), 69.64% Black or African American, 0.35% Native American, 0.21% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 3.60% from other races, and 3.35% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 28.55% of the population.

The city's population is spread out with 34.6% under the age of 18, 12.3% from 18 to 24, 26.8% from 25 to 44, 17.7% from 45 to 64, and 8.5% who were 65 years of age or older.

The per capita income for the city is approximately $15,000. About 31.5% of families and 35.2% of the population are rising above the poverty line, including 42.3% of those under age 18 and 40.8% of those age 65 or over.

Calvin Godfrey of the Miami New Times said that the police department had been "steadily deteriorating" for the twenty year period leading up to 2009. The police force decreased from 50 to 16.

In 2004 Opa-locka had the highest rate of violent crime for any city in the United States.



So, to sum it up, a young, poor, minority community with high crime has a lousy police department that has been seriously slashed.  Probably one of those places where some city official decided they need a PD that was "representative of the community."  What could go wrong?

Yet somehow, after all of that, and his chief publicly decrying him, he gets promoted last year.  WTF?

I have no idea what this guy knows, but to get all that and be promoted? Seriously, there's something beyond fucked up there. Any one of his many violations would get me fired in record time. He needs to be in prison.

The most amazing part to me, amid the firings. and suspensions, hre gets promoted.

Kicked out of Miami-Dade police academy just two weeks before graduating for impersonating a police officer with shop-bought badge.
1992
Bosque hired in Florida City, after department is desperate for police in wake of Hurricane Andrew.

1994
Hired by Opa-Locka police department after being asked to leave Florida City due to tainted record.
1998
Suspended twice this year for  unauthorised police pursuits.
May - Bosque calls in sick but is fact on holiday in Cancún.
2000
March - Bosque is fired after a high-speed police pursuit but is reinstated in June.
December - Bosque fired in connection with an incident in which he assaulted a 16-year-old boy.
2001
February - Bosque is rehired.
May - Bosque’s girlfriend reports he hit her in the face and then slapped his own face and told police she had battered him. After finding he had lied investigators recommended he be fired but he was disciplined.
2004
January - Bosque suspended for 45 days after beating up a handcuffed suspect.
March - Suspended for 15 days without pay for excessive force, spitting on a suspect and using racial slurs. His police certificate is put on probation.
July - Bosque is accused of sexually assaulting a corrections officer inside his locked police car. Not disciplined after investigators said the woman admitted she had failed to say 'no'.
October - Carries an undeclared, handgun onto a plane but case was dropped after he claimed girlfriend had packed bag.
2008
February - Several crack pipes and cocaine found in Bosque's car. He is not prosecuted.
June - Bosque fired by Opa-locka’s city manager but is reinstated in July with back pay after the FOP files a grievance.
August - Bosque is sacked again in connection with the drugs incident but is reinstated in November.
2011
January - Promoted to sergeant
2012
May - Suspended with pay for allowing a newspaper reporter to shadow him without permission.
