what are your thoughts. These speakers are kinda pricey. Anything cheaper than 800 dollars for the speakers that would rival their output. I dont want pussy speakers.

Ya' get what ya' pay for up to a certain point with speakers.

Have a look at the Paradigm Monitors, NHT, Ascend Acoustics, Axiom Audio, and Rocket by Onix speakers for high bang to the buck speakers that are a better than the Circuit City and Best Buy speaker lines.

The Aperion Audio speakers get some good peer reviews.

Best bang for the buck brand is Paradigm.
