He made home made chocolate milk on his show.  Apparently all he does is heat heavy cream, add hershey chocolate bars, and whole milk.  Sounds yummy!

Have any of you made some?  Do you have a chocolate milk recipe?

Don't want to knock Hershey's but I think the chocolate I make is WAY better for Hot chocolate. It is Mexican style chocolate and the go to use for mexican chocolate IS hot chocolate. In southern Mexico, hot chocolate is drunk as often as we drink coffee here.

I didn't know there was anyone who didn't know how to make chocolate milk.

It's chocolate and milk.
If you want something a little different, throw in some Mexican chocolate instead.  Very tasty.

The box says "mix," but it's not a powder like Nesquik or anything like that.  It's solid bars of chocolate with spices mixed in.  Pulverize them in a blender and pour in hot milk.

I got some of those mexican choclate tablets. I think your basic powdered mix is better. Use whole milk or half and half if you want to improve on it.

There is somebody who doesn't know how to make homemade chocolate milk?

On a mostly unrelated note, a foot-long corndog, washed down with large amounts of grape soda, looks exactly like chocolate pudding when puked by a 10 year old.

Did you know that if you whip heavy cream for awhile, it turns into whipped cream?

And if you keep going it turns into a liquid again?

But wait, there's more! Keep going and you get BUTTER! and BUTTERMILK!!!!!!!

Serious OP, hershey's chocolate sux0rz. Get some cocoa powder from the spice section of the market and go hog wild. And then use your new heavy cream skills for a fresh homemade topping!

Yep. We have made it for the past 5 years or so when we go camping. We call it Glenn Beck Hot Chocolate or Heart Attack in a Cup. It's pretty good but super rich. And you have to drink it pretty fast while it is still pretty hot or else the chocolate starts hardening.

In America, I use ghirardeli chocolate, with soy milk and I don't add sugar. In France, I used milk warm from the cow and van houten chocolate with brown sugar. Hershey's is not very good chocolate.

I don't use heavy cream, but I usually just throw some semi-sweet chocolate chips or semi-sweet confectioners chocolate wafers into a saucepan with some milk and heat it over low heat until the chocolate is dissolved into the milk.  It is a hell of a lot better than Swiss Miss.

Resident heretic here.

I heat skim milk, then mix in a tablespoon or so of unsweetened cocoa powder, a like amount of Splenda, a dash of salt (don't ask why, it helps), and a couple of drops of vanilla (the real stuff, not fake).

Delicious, and unlike Beck's recipe, you won't get fat off this.

Home made chocolate milk? Lets see, you need milk and hersheys syrup.

Pour milk. Add Syrup to taste. Stir. Done.

Spicy hot cocoa is the way to go. Caribou Coffee offer a spicy milk chocolate mocha that I'm now hooked on. I've never been a mocha drinker but, we were running around a few weeks back and I decided to try it. Man I highly recommend it.

Even my 9 year old knows how to mix some cocoa powder, sugar, and a small amount of water in a pan on the
stove to make chocolate syrup. What are they teaching you kids nowadays?
