Joe: Heard you got the new droid? Me: ???? No I got an android phone Joe: Cool can I check it out? Me: * Hands phone to Joe * Joe: I thought you said you got the droid? This does not look like it? Me: No I got an ANDROID device. This is the Samsung Galaxy S, which runs ANDROID as its OS. Joe: Ohhhh, you should have gotten the Droid its better than this phone Me:  |

I got the Droid X Saturday!
 I love the features and feel, but it runs Corp apps like shit. I can't get Corporate Sync or VPN to work on the bastard. But I can take 720p videos and 8 mega pixel pictures all day long. |

He means droids are android devices on verizon's network, which many people see as superior to the US GSM grid. (ATT & Tmobile use GSM) |
