The C93/HK33 kit builds look way better and the C93's are relatively cheap already built.
In the 90s a gun guy would give his left nut for an HK93, or a clone if any existed, and nowadays they barely get much attention. ARs got more versitile and more options pretty much leaving the less versitile 223 guns bite the dust from enthusiasm. The CETME L is a little on the ugly side. |

But by time that support arrived, the kits either sold out or rose exponentially in price. I've learned my lesson. I'll buy cheap kits for guns I'd like to have and either wait for the parts or sell the kits on gunbroker to the people who asked "what's the point?" a couple years from now for 3x what I paid. |

I am glad someone brought this thread to my attention!
To my knowledge this is the first time the CETME L (5.56X45) rifle/part set has ever been available to American shooters/collectors. Since the CETME L kits are just hitting the market there will be a lag before manufacturers see the opportunity to supply barrels & receivers for these. CENTURY Arms will NOT be building these guns because APEX purchased ALL the CETME L's that were imported. We are catching up on customer orders and have been short 2-3 people every day since the week before Christmas, so that is why these have not been handled and listed yet. Jeff and I are talking pricing and think we will be doing an "introductory sale price" as we want to get these out into our customers hands. We are talking pricing between $200 to $300. APEX has been in contact with companies wanting to build parts/barrels/receivers for these and their is a chance of semi-auto rifles for the commercial market. The parts kits are here, but the cut barrels and crushed receivers have yet to clear US Customs. Richard  |

Looks like it needs and AR buffer tube stock or two on it. |

The current APEX web site doesn't support CUSTOMER accounts and so there is no e-mailings of new products, newsletter, etc. That will come with the new web site that we are working on now.
