Liberals have basically taken over the state of California and a major economy. Think of San Francisco alone where they do what they want without even respecting the rule of law (Gay marriages, public nudity, open use of drugs). At the state level, they get all the gun bans they want.
Now the millions of illegal aliens residing in California will become citizens and swell California's already-bloated electoral votes come the next census. Liberals will control all of those votes and more seats in Congress. They got a beautiful state out of the deal, simply by congregating there in droves and outnumbering Conservatives. |

I had no idea!! |

>But the weather is great!
I hate it when people say that abou California, 'cause it just ain't so. And getting in the water there sucks, too cold. And what about how dry everything - in the south - there is? |

And the earthquakes, and the mudslides, and the brown outs....when do the locusts come? California, the land of fruits, nuts, and flakes. |

Oh. Reminds me of our Governor Symington 10 years ago defying the Federal Gov't "shutdown" and sending the National Guard to open the Grand Canyon. |

This state is going through a big transformation right now.I see alot of people over making millions, buying big houses, boats, cars, etc off of the labor of the illegals. The illegals see this and want the same and are working hard to get those things too.Heck an illegal at my work just got appoved on a $400k house! The stupid mortgage funding corp dont care all they want is someone who will pay on time. They dont care if 10 of them live in the house either. This state went to shit in the last 15 years....

Now that you've broken the code, move to NH and join us in the original Free State Project. The Massholes are moving north from Boston and diluting us pretty quickly, we need reinforcements.

that would be a 1 and a half bedroom and half a bath and no garage in cali right? |

The Feds can and do cut off Federal funds to states that do no comply. Highway funds and the old 55 mph speed limit comes to mind.
I can say honestly that I've no interest in going to San Francisco and little interest in going to LA. I'd rather go to the mountains or the beach or even the desert. I don't see this as an ideal mix, gays and Catholic's of Latino persuasion, any more than gays and Baptists that are Black. One thing's for sure gays will never out breed Catholic Latinos and macho and gay are not a match made in heaven. AIDS and other STDs will continue to be a larger problem in the gay community than elsewhere. That they've chosen to congregate heavily in SF is probably better for the health of other communities in general. I'm pretty sure the gun ban will not stand and that it was more a political stunt. Crime will rise and fall in cities like SF and when it does politicians will take the PC stand that "it shows the effectiveness of our new restrictive laws" or "we need to do more to take guns off the street". Anyone with half a brain can see through this. |

I hope you enjoy flood/tornado/hurricane season. |
|
|
I'm sure he will, you probably cant due to state bans on enjoyment of incliment weather |

I see that "live Free or Die" may die out soon.... gotta "love it". |

Liberalism/Socialism is rapidly failing. It has to.
It's a crying shame. This is a beautiful state with every type of land and climate available within a few hours drive in any direction. The weather is mild beyond belief. Their little experiment in feel-good liberalism will fail and then you will see a dramatic swing. At least, this is what I keep telling myself. |
|
Nothing the Free State Project wasn't also contemplating for other states; they just beat you to it.
|
|
Not to worry, my Dad just moved to northern NH and he's a 26 year USMC vet and big time gun guy. He hates Massholes as much as I do. --VT |

Actually the liberals lost California too. The irony is that in places like California the white liberals will not be controlling everything, rather it will be Mexican Democrats, who will not be liberal like whites on every issue. Also the white liberals will never again hold statewide office, whoever gets the statewide nomination will have to have a Mexican name and preferably be brown.

Just west of my house please. |

The sad thing is that California is a beautiful state. In my wanderings last year I found myself drawn back to the east and north over and over again. I would have LOVED to settle in some of those places but I spent nearly all of my life off and on in the state and it's a lost cause.
Anywhere but the Bay Area and LA is moderate to conservative but with Gerrymandering and the overall Socialist mindset of so many that live there, a swing to the Right is unthinkable. Arnold was the Last Gasp and the defeats he suffered in the last election put the final nails in the coffin. The clock is now ticking on the next phase which will be the rise of Aztlan. I think that's going to end up being a shooting war before it's over. |

Wait!!!
There's a vacancy a brewing in gaylafornia. "Gay, a recipe for self-extinction" Unknown Author |

But hey , when they say , "we cant afford a tax cut" this is what liberals are talking about !

You're on drugs; the weather is great. I don't even own a jacket. Some of the best vacations I've taken were at NorCal beaches in December. Bright and sunny.
Only in NorCal. I grew up in SoCal and swam at the beach since I was 5. You adjust in about 3 minutes.
If you don't like the desert, there is always the Bay Area. California has so many microclimates it makes one's head spin. You're just jealous. |

And the tornadoes, and the hurricanes. Oh wait, we don't have those. |
||
|
Don't we make all the cool shit elsewhere, and just how do they expect to fight a war without any guns? |
|

My state has the dumbest bunch of fuckwads of any piece of land on the earth including the Middleast and North Korea.
|
|
|
ok, i notice some BS...
open use of drugs in sf? where? seriously its all over but not an allowable thing... my buddies bust ppl smokin(dope) on the street. brownouts.... where? even during the energy "crisis" i never had one... and housing... 450... damn thats cheap... my 3 bedroom place w/ pool is worth 650... mind you it was purchased in 1970 for 22k..... inflation's a bitch. |
|
Actually if you re-did that and just cut off the area west of I-5 all the way from the Mexican to the Canadian border that would solve most of the problems in 3 states. |
||
|
You must have been hiding under a very large rock!
The only thing I am still unsure about is, what state(s) are we supposed to congregate to? |
|
+1,000 The ocean can take Seattle and Portland too. I won't miss 'em. |

The only reason that the Mexicans are taking so much heat is due to the presence of "model immigrants" who are making deficiencies in Mexican immigrant performance and behaviour stand out with crystal clarity. Ahhh... Diversity, the best way to show that some people really are better than others. Hey guys, get this! I just found out that the Dept. of Justice settled a lawsuit with the City of VA Beach (might be wrong but it's definitely in the state) because math test scores on entrance exams "discriminated" against black and latino applicants. Bwa ha ha ha ha! It seems like white folks are up to snuff. None of the media outlets mentioned asians, are they afraid the scores might be too high? The math score requirements will be LOWERED and there might be a restitution fund or a new round of hiring to "make things equal" again. Bwa ha ha ha ha! I can't wait till this plan falls on it's face in some fashion. |

I live here. I think it's great. (The weather, not the gun laws) NTM |

I have seen this in San Fran in broad daylight. Done by a street pig who had just left a drug treatment clinic. Of course I have also seen it on the street in DC in broad daylight done by some welfare client types. GunLvr |

Most of the inflated value of homes in Southern California is related to the value of the lot. Any single story home over 20 years old is a candidate to be torn down (or remodeled upwards), with a house twice as big taking it's place. This can be done at an immediate profit. |
