Hmm. won't play.
Don's guns in Indianapolis used to have commercials a lot. The guy was a total douche. |
I used to see some on the local news channels when I was goin to school in PA, only around hunting season though.
Self Defense Gun and Archery in Stuart, FL used to run TV ads all the time. usually during the local news.
Glick Twins down here in South Texas runs a commercial during hunting season

LOL, in Jacksonville like 10 years ago when I was just a kid, I remember seeing a gunshop commercial come on. The guy was holding bolt action rifles and such, I was probably about 8 or 9. I ask my dad if we can get one, my dad was in the Navy but wasnt into guns and didnt know much about them. I still remember what he told me.
Me about 8 or 9: Me: Dad, can we get one of those?!? Dad:What for? Me:I dunno, to shoot rabits and stuff... Dad:If you shoot a rabit with that, all you'll have left is a few puffs of fur. Me: Awww. LMAO, I think that was the beginning of my gun fantasies. Never gonna forget that. |

Apperently he only sells total pieces of crap..... Hipoint Tec Nines and such..... |

What's the deal with that "Don" guy? Didn't he publically endorse the AWB or something?
+87 Who is this guy? Whats with his cheesyness? [Dr.Angus] You ARE Cheesy[/Dr.Angus] |
In front of his Northwest Side store, Don has a tombstone with a inscription describing the 30 or so AKs that were melted/bashed and buried at that spot in support of the AWB. Of course, he still sells overpriced $1500 ARs and $900 SIGs to any sucker who doesn't know better. When you enter the door, there's a sign telling the customer not to talk politics because our elected officials know best, or something to that effect. I haven't been in any of his stores in over five years and never will again. |

Don Davis on the expiration of the 94 AWB... www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=3905028 |
On the NPR clip, she asked him about the "flooding of high capacity magazines" since the AWB expired, and if he was worried about it, his response was "Not at all, during the ban, in my shop I probably had five thousand of them"
In the video did that chick identify the target at all? It looked like she shot him through French doors leading outside. She just sprayed and prayed with no thought to those in the houses around her to the high velocity rifle rounds she was sending downrange.
This one gets a D- from the ARFCOM Correctness Council! |
Don's used to have several funny commercials in the 80s. There was the one where he was singing with a band, complete with a guitar shaped like a gun. There was one where he had a Ronald Reagan mask on and carrying an UZI, and he proclaimed, "Come on down and get the Ronny Special!" He also had one with himself shootinig a Thompson.
Did you guys read the comments on the video at the site?
This one was a real gem.

Free rock with every purchse
"NOT A TOY" flashing while showing rock. |
I've seen them. A local gunshow and several manufacturers bought ad time during American Shooter and other gun-related shows on OLN. But none of them were as funny as that one.
I once made a commercial for a gun store (Loudoun Guns).
Bomber |
That sounded like a spoof like those Home Shopping Network commercials about those evil assaul rifle AK-47s, "As Seen In Africa!™"
Like I said... |

I apologize for swearing in a topic title; I seldom post and forgot the rules for a second, however, "Holy Macaroni" is teh ghey.
