Of course at that speed it'll run out of fuel inside 30 minutes or so and the helicopter will catch up while you are trying to run away.

Police Helicopter?  They have a level flight top speed of around 125 KTS.

A Camaro could outrun a police helicopter.

Even a Cessna 182 could be outran by a sports car.

I have been outrun by a police interceptor in my 172!  We were both on the way to the same accident.  Toward the end I cashed in my excess altitude and caught him.  Planerench out.

On straight roads...yes, but when the road turns, you slow down, make the turn, and the helo/cessna will catch you quickly.

I don't care if I can outrun a squad,plane,chopper....I don't care how fast it can go in 2.5 seconds...I want to know if it can go from 150 to 65 mph in 1 second when the radar detector goes off.

Besides...I haven't seen a machine fast enough to outrun the RADIO!!
