This is trivial but it's bugging the hell out of me. There is actually a word for this and I can't remember it.

It's basically a scam made up of 2 people in cahoots and a (male) mark.

Scammer #1 is an attractive woman who comes on to the mark. After a couple minutes of conversation she says she wants to get it on with him and she has a hotel room/husband out of town/whatever.

So they go to the motel/apartment and just as things are heating up, the mark has some of his clothes off the "husband" (scammer #2 and a very big guy) comes home unexpectedly. The woman tells the mark, "Oh my god, it's my husband! He's got a bad temper and he'll KILL US! GET OUT OF HERE!"

In the mayhem, somehow the mark's wallet disappears as he is scrambling out the door. What's the phrase for this setup?

Also, please add any other colorful slang you think we'd enjoy.

I remember the phrase, I think the second word in it is "game" as in _______ game. Damn this is bugging me.

I think the first word is some sort of animal, or maybe a bird, but I could be way off. I know this is a real phrase because I read it somewhere once and then looked it up on Urban Dictionary and there it was.

No it's more specific and elaborate than getting rolled.

To me, when you get "rolled," it's basically just a few guys beating the hell out of the victim and taking his money. Usually the victim is drunk when this happens.

don't remember the term, but I do recall it was the primary theme of the movie "One Night at McCool's " starring Liv Tyler, John Goodman, Paul Reiser, Matt Dillon , and Dice I think.

I would add the image of the movie poster, but the picture that is approved for hanging in public is apparently to "sugggestive" for arf

Usually a Badger scam involves the second part waving a "badge".

Like convincing the mark he's been caught by a LEO while soliciting a hooker.
