I've been considering getting a personalized license plate for my POV, and these are some of the options available here in Florida at the moment. (these are merely options that have not been used by anyone else, and are not automatically dumped for key words/hits). I am seeking the hive mind's input on this so let's have it...What would you go with of the following choices, or If you can come up with anything similar in nature to these that isn't already on the "not available" list below, I'd like to here it as well. You can use no more than 7 letters/numbers total, but may include a single space or dash more than the 7 figure total. For example: "1234567", "123-4567", OR "123 4567" are all acceptable, but "12345678", "123-456-7", or "123 45-6" is not.

...and no, I won't be adding a poll to this, because there are waaaay to many choices.

Available CONFIGURATIONS:

(NOTE:a DASH CAN ALSO BE USED TO TAKE THE PLACE OF A SPACE IN ANY OF THESE EXAMPLES)

My profession tends to give away the fact that I own guns... , buts regardless, I generally stopped caring about who did or didn't know @ the same time I realized that anyone looking to start trouble would likely not live very long through the incident... I feel that what with the current "state of affairs" as it were, that now is probably one of the most important times ever to show my stance on gun ownership & usage...

YMMV however...

Your profession as well as your customized plate will also make it easier for crooks to find you or ID your vehicle.  I would avoid it.

I come down on the side of maintaining as much anonymity as possible when it comes to what might be in my home / car. Having said that, I do have a BFL on my car. It's something only the initiated will recognize. Along those same lines, I would recommend ARFCOM if you really want a personalized plate.

I kinda like the dpms reference on the protect the panther plates..it serves a 2 fold purpose i.e. the panthers both the fla panther and the 2a dpms panther.

yeah, "my profession" is the same too.

I like to keep my options open and my "profession" low key.

sure I might feel 10 feet tall and bullet proof, but my wife and kids don't, and why risk them when they ride in my car?

and gun stickers and lic.plates scream "break into me and see if I have guns in the car."

even if you don't windows are expensive.

and ever been followed home? or your plates run by some felon with a grudge who has a girlfriend that works for DMV?

how about having your car keyed by an anti gun zealot crazy left winger. paint jobs don't grow back.

I frequently travel with guns in my car, training, recreation etc, I don't want to have one more thing to worry about it if I have to leave my car locked up away from my immediate view or control with my AR's in the trunk.

As I stated earlier..YMMV. What works for me & mine, may clearly not work for you & yours...

Vanity plates are gay.  Think of all the ammo you could buy with that money.

I prefer to keep a low profile regarding weapons.  Any reference to "AR-15" will attract unwanted attention.

For some, maybe....For me, it's more a matter of attempting to instill a little good old fashioned conservative reform, through use of some simple advertising...

You see, <a little history here>...I used to live in NW Florida; an area which, like much of the geographical state, has consistently voted... correctly (republican) . I was happy and content living there for many years until last Nov. After looking at the results of that disaster, I realized then that my state was suffering from several largely condensed infections of libertardism, which if not dealt with quickly, had not only the potential to quickly spread to my doorstep, but would be nearly impossible to eradicate from such a position before say, 2012... So after packing up my belongings and bidding farewell to my friends & co workers, I settled my accounts, and swiftly headed out for the very heart of this disease...

Suffice it to say, I now live in an area of the state which can best be described as "infested" with a plethora of obamacratic socialists, who seemingly breed like rats and invariably tend to suck off the life blood of this state & the nation as a whole through numerous domestic social programs, and while the law prevents me from physically dealing with these vermin in a manner properly befitting their nature, the use of a personalized plate provides one method by which I can at least attempt to affect a little uncertainty amongst their numbers...

The bottom line is this: I want these utterly worthless bastards to see this plate, and (even if only vaguely) to wonder if perhaps they are within enemy territory..., while at the same time instill confidence in those of like minds to my own that indeed, they are not alone...

Some would argue that using personalized plates would expose them to unnecessary risks, and to that, I can only say that no choice in life is ever risk-free, and what for some may seem as unnecessary, may be seen as quite the opposite by others... Personally, I view it as somewhat of a duty... to fight the good fight as it were, in the preservation of our firearms-friendly, conservative way of life, but as stated in other posts... you views may vary...

Where are you - Dade County?  I live in Brevard County which always goes Republican.  Its true that the further south you go in Florida, the further north you get .

Even so, I would avoid anything obvious, like 'AR-15'.  No need to draw attention to yourself.

I like the "I'm Foing" somebody above came up with.  That way you'll only be recognized by your brother ARFCOM members.
