No, no, no.  The federal reserve is guilty because they printed the money that allowed the criminals to buy the guns.  If we would just get rid of money, people wouldn't be able to buy guns.

Why don't they ask that Washington Post guy who ragged on guns all the time but then shot the intruder on his property in DC with an unregistered gun?

Voted....now it's the gun shop owners fault. WTF, how about punishing the damn criminals?! Kill someone, get out in 5 years but steal form the .gov and you'll never see the light of day. This crap really needs to end.

Our rights were not meant to be taken away, by vote, force or any other means. All the other boxes have run their course IMO.

I'll give them this- the poll could be worded better.  It should say "...weapons that they have sold LEGALLY?".  But then the answer would be TOO obvious, even for gunphobes.

61/39.

Thanks, OP.

Yes he is a leftist.

Carl Rowan.

A portion of the Wiki piece on Rowan-

Rowan gained public notoriety on June 14, 1988, when he shot a teenage trespasser, Neil Smith, who was on his property illegally. He was charged for firing a gun that he did not legally own. Rowan was arrested and tried. During the trial, he argued that he had the right to use whatever means necessary to protect himself and his family. Critics charged hypocrisy, since Rowan was a strict gun control advocate. In a 1981 column, he advocated "a law that says anyone found in possession of a handgun except a legitimate officer of the law goes to jail—period." In 1985, he called for "A complete and universal federal ban on the sale, manufacture, importation and possession of handguns (except for authorized police and military personnel)." [4][5]
Rowan was tried but the jury was deadlocked, the judge declared a mistrial and he was never retried. In his autobiography, Rowan said he still favors gun control, but admits being vulnerable to a charge of hypocrisy.[6]
Rowan died in Washington, D.C. His alma mater, Oberlin College, holds his papers.

IIRC, the team was taking a midnight dip in Rowan's pool.

Like a candy store is responsible for obesity and tooth decay.

If the twisted logic that gun stores are responsible for crime, then so are liquor stores since many acts of crime are while under the influence.  Liquor stores would also, by the same logic, be responsible for alcoholism and spousal abuse.  Applying that same twisted logic, car dealerships are responsible for drunk driving and whether the driver is sober or not, automobile accidents.  The same may be said of motorcycle dealers.  Paper suppliers are responsible for lawsuits and candy shops for tooth decay.  Television (electronic appliances stores) are responsible for the decline of reading in this nation.  Here's the killer.  Supermarkets, grocery stores and ultimately farmers, are responsible for the diabetes and the nation's obesity problem!  Ban humans and other animals because they breathe air and foul this planet with carbon dioxide.

Solution?  Ban farming.  It'll stop obesity and diabetes.  Ban paper.  It will save the rainforest and cut down on needless lawsuits.  Close candy stores or stores that sell candy.  It'll cut down on tooth decay.  Close down car, motorcycle and motor home dealerships.  It will reduce vehicle accidents and drunk driving.  Besides, people will be healthier if they walk or take public transit.  Ban breathing.  It causes carbon.  Anyone who breathes air must be taxed out of existence.

BTW, I voted.

And newspapers should be held responsible for crimes that readers commit after articles they've printed induce them to violence.
