Slang for German/Dutch/Norwegian/Swedish immigrants.

"Pennsyvania Dutch" actually refers to German immigrants also. "Dutch" being an Americanized contraction of "deutsch". Toby McQuire's character in Ride With The Devil was known as "Dutchy" Roedel even though he was from Germany rather the The Netherlands fot the same reason.
