Some interesting historical information involving a famous sniper duel at the Battle of Stalingrad between Germany and Russia's best snipers. Similar story involving Carlos Hathcock
and a North Vietnamese sniper.  Should air again tonight on "Dangerous Missions" on History Channel later this afternoon

Hathcock was reported as single handedly killing off and entire Company one shot at a time. This is incredible to me! Course I work with a guy that says he rutinely did the same thing using only a Ka-Bar and wearing a loin cloth. Yes, the man is a legend in his own mind!

If this is the program I've seen before, Chuck Mawhinney is also profiled. He was a Vietnam Marine with 103 confirmed kills (versus Hathcock's 93). Says the Marines found his weapon still in service, pulled it and had it restored for display in a museum.

Screw the Ka-Bar, I'd run away from any guy that was only wearing a loin cloth. [:O]
