A coworker of mine has started taking Life Extension brand "Life Extension Mix" multivitamins. The dosage is pretty damn heavy. Here's a link to the product on their site: http://www.lef.org/newshop/items/item00584.html The manufacturer recommends 14 capsules per day which results in the following dosage: http://www.lef.org/prod_desc/lifemixb.htm I was always under the impression that any excessvie vitamins you take are simply passed through your urine. However, could such a high dose actually do you some harm? Perhaps stress your kidneys? Or do some of you feel that such high dosages are actually beneficial in some way? I very briefly scanned around the site...and you are encouraged to become a member etc. etc. Seems a bit "cultish" to me. Your opinions and comments are welcomed and encouraged.
