Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - High White Blood Cell Count

Does anyone have an abnormally high white blood cell count?  Know someone who does?  I believe the technical term is leukocytosis.  From what I understand, the count should not be over 10,800.
My count has increased the last 4 or 5 years to 18,000.  I have my second appointment with the doc next month.  Just wonderin'.  Thanks for any information.
