I am considering their "Public Secret' IWB.

It is offered with straps or a reverse "J" clip.

I am not familiar with clip on holsters so I am looking for input.

Nor really a fan of that style of holster, since I prefer tuckables.  The clip itself seems workable, though they don't show a side profile t really explain it.

Have you looked at the Comp-Tac Minotaurs?

I wanted a straight drop so it looks like the Comp-Tac is out.

They make a straight-drop variant:

I have one of the High Noon holsters for my M&P 9c, it's the "Split Decision" model.  I don't like the fact that it collapses when you remove the gun, making re-holstering a pain. Other than that I like it fine.  I don't think you can beat these holsters for the price.
