Stratocaster. Originally designed and made by Leo Fender of the Fender Guitar Company. It is the American Rock and Roll guitar.

It is one of the two most-used, most-played, and most recognizable electric guitars ever made (the other would be the Gibson "Les Paul").

Telecasters are nicer.

On a side note, why does every post you make start with "What does _____ mean?" I'm reminded of my 8-year-old cousin for some reason.

What's plinking? Is a Stratiotes a plinker? You use plinkers for plinking, right?

But of course.

You use a Strat for stratting, and sometimes ratatat-tat-tatting. It can also be using for plinking, and doubles as a handy dandy plinker.

However, you most certainly cannot use a Strat for clinking. Just doesn't work.

What's clinking? Is that like plinking? I'm confused.

Clinking is when you take a big dump and it clinks in the toilet bowl.

I'm anxiously awaiting the Deej thread entitled " Are space shuttle door gunners for real?"

Wait a second....

Maybe I can look forward to "Are handguns REALLY made out of hands?"

Or maybe" What exactely do you assault with a assault rifle? Please post pics."

My son has a couple Strats. He's pretty good and even receptive to learning some SRV and Clapton in addition to the thrash metal that he really likes ot play. I predict a bright future for the boy... he's 17 and realizes how much chicks dig guitar players.

The right of the people to keep and bear...arms shall not be infringed. A well regulated militia, composed of the people, trained to arms, is the best and most natural defense of a free country... -- James Madison, I Annals of Congress 434 (June 8, 1789). Quote on Militia
A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves...and include all men capable of bearing arms. -- Richard Henry Lee, Additional Letters from the Federal Farmer (1788) at 169.
