What are your favorite Hi-Cap 10/22 Mags? Looking for durability.

I sold all my Butler Creek hi-caps back during the ban and made a killing on them. (Bought at Wal-Mart for $14 each in 1994, sold them on ebay for $75 each in 2003)

The Butler Creek steel lips are your best bet.

Stay away from any mags with plastic lips. FWIW, the factory Ruger mags are very
reliable, albeit not high cap.

i recently got a hot lips 25 rd mag from academy and have had zero problems with it. ymmv i guess.

i have been told to steer clear of ramline, but on the other hand i've heard eagle mags are not bad. they can be had cheaply from sportsmans guide. any other opinions on these?

I bought a bunch of "Condor" steel lipped magazines back during the ban. Paid something like 30/ea for them. They seem to work well and are pretty reliable.

I should buy some of the Butler Creek steel lipped and compare.

Eagle mags suck shit.
I bought two and they both cause jams plus they can't be reloaded with the Butler Creek reloader.

I am pleased the the 50 round Jamlines work with both of my 10/22's and that they fit in the Butler Creek reloader.

The 50 round drum sucks as you have to take the piece of shit apart to reload it.
Never heard of the modification that was mentioned.

As far as the Butler Creek mags go I have 4 Butler Creek hot lips mags that have lased for over 14 years of hard use and thousands of rounds, including being dropped, and none of them have ever broken or messed up.

For the gun show price of Butler Creek hot lips (I have seen them for $10.99) you can't go wrong.

Am I the only one who wishes that the Butler Creek hi-caps didn't look like plastic toys?

+1 on Butler Creek Steel Lips

Their Hot Lips mags (plastic instead of steel) are a mixed bag. Some work, some don't. The ones that don't can be screwed with somewhat, but just buy Steel lips and be done with it.

Hey! That's pretty slick!

Too bad they don't have them in basic black.

I bought 4 BC Hotlips from Academy and tried them all yesterday. ALL problematic. Maybe the Green Mountain Bentz chamber contrubutes to the problem, maybe they requre a break in, but nevertheless I was bitterly disappointed & as much of an ass pain it is to load 10 BX-10s instead of 4 Hotlips, I think I'm going back.

BTW I haven't seen steel lips sold anywhere.
