Thats right fat ass, you have a SOLID 6 months to lose all that weight –– more than enough time to transform your body if you work out properly. This way you wont have to panic like you did this year when March rolled around and your gut was still over your buckle.

Thank me later fat ass! Start tomorrow. JUST DO IT!

Yeah, I dont care if its cold outside and I dont care if its dark when you get up. Dont be a loser, just get up, go to the gym and get it out of the way. Its your life man, stop the fricking whinning already you sound like a little girl.

I DONT want to see you roll-into my gym on April 1st with that panicked look in your eye trying to furiously lose 40 pound in a month. Do it right this time fat ass and start tomorrow.

I do need to start hitting the gym again. I need to get a good pair of running shoes to pickup HIIT.

Sitting at a computer all day is not conducive to remaining slender.

"Fatass" I'm not.

I ride about 200 miles per week.  Hopefully next year I'll hit up some local crit and other races.

I'm 32 and see many kids 10 years younger than I in worse shape.

Hell, I ride with a 60 year old pro cyclist that just started 5 years ago.

A person who wants to build muscle is better off eating a sweet potato or drinking carrot juice for breakfast than muscle milk. The body needs vitamin A to utilize protein, but a mostly protein rich diet strips the body of vitamin A. So you can suck down tons of muscle milk and end up wasting money and protein that can't get used much by the body. It's much better to eat foods rich in vitamin A to boost the utilization of protein and naturally increase testosterone production and other growth factors in the body than mostly eating proteins.

Never used much of anything and I am not particularly in shape. . . . injured myself again the other night and cannot run.  Again.  Pulled my hamstring (or something in that area) two years back and it just will not quite go away.

Now go away.

You're either tiny or you don't have much muscle on your body. Drop and give me 20 pushups, 40 situps and 20 squats. You have 8 minutes.

I could stand to gain 20 or 30 pounds in the right ways.  Being 6' 2" and 155-160 does not make for a very intimidating game of touch football

You are aware that milk is a high vitamin A food source?

• Whole milk has 300 IU per cup; nonfat and low-fat milk (which are fortified with A), 500 IU; butter or margarine, 400 to 500 IU per tablespoon; most hard cheese, about 250 IU per ounce.

I'm kinda lactose intolerant so I kinda avoid it.

Regardless, I honestly don't think people who want to put on muscle need stuff like muscle milk or as much protein as they think they do.

The last time I went into a gym someone with a similar vocabulary harassed me to the point of bringing his buds to come look at "the fucking whale that wants to be a shark".

I tried to turn the situation around by asking their advice on weight loss etc and got laughed at. So I said screw it and went home,
