So I am back. 3GS with 4.0.1. Old baseband so I didn't need the iPad baseband. Limera1 unlock.

So many apps need 4.2. Is there a free JB / unlock for that these days? Where do I look online? Google just gives pay sites.

How do I just upgrade to 4.2 and not to a OS that is not able to be unlocked? I am not a very proficient computer guy and need a link that walks you through it.

My son used Green Poison on ours. It works very good.   I don't know all of the details but I think his is broken with the latest OS. Google it.
