Not an altogether bad idea. Why don't you sent the pic to the NRA as a suggestion. Certainly would get the media tongues wagging at next years convention!

how dey do dat? platform's idea is all in all not a bad one.

Easy- just swap heads on the notorious pic of Feinstein "sweeping" the crowd at a press conference with an "evil, baby-killing" AK- with her finger on the trigger, natch....

Chuck Heston is a cool dude, but there is no way in hell they are gonna alienate all the deer and duck hunters. We are the the bastard children of the gun owning family. We aren't gonna be anybody's best friend until SHTF. Then we're gonna get all kinds of loyal friends.
Link Posted: 6/22/2001 8:19:17 AM EDT
The AR needs to be a preban with a USGI mag. [:D]

Hey, my fellow free-stater. Going to the Carlisle show?

Amen. We are the RED-HAIRED bastard step-chidren, who make the family uncomfortable at gatherings, because we remind them of the truth, which they so conveniently wish all to forget. We're not sportsmen, we're gunowners. I hear this crapola all the time from both blue-collar and white-collar hunting types here in MA. Typical conversation at a gun shop: "Nobody needs more than 10 rds. capacity in a rifle." Me: "Sez who?" "Well, we just want to keep guns out of the wrong hands" Me: "Oh yeah? What happens when the govt. says YOU have the wrong hands?" "That will never happen- this is a free country." Me: "Then why can't I be free to buy an AR-15 or AK-47?" "Those aren't good weapons for hunting." Me: "Immaterial. The 2nd Amendment isn't about duck hunting, pops. It's about freedom- yours AND mine." I don't hunt- and from encountering these cammo-clad clods, I am getting less and less inclined to take it up. Most of these guys vote for Teddy Kennedy by reflex, because they think he's going to bring home the bacon. Usually the bacon is for the Big Dig (the $ong that never ends), or (ironically) fat defence contracts....gee- whose pockets does all this come out of, again? One guy even said that if the govt. made guns illegal or tough to get/own/use, he'd give up shooting, and take up golf instead. I wanted to throw thirty pieces of silver at him, but suddenly remembered that US coins no longer have any silver in them.... Moses should not only have a pre-ban AR w/ a flash suppressor held high, it should also have a bayonet and a grenade launcher on it. Fack 'em.

He could of held up an M1A... But as the others said, he didn't want to offend the hunters.
Link Posted: 6/22/2001 11:46:23 AM EDT
alienate hunters! how many hunters use muskets or black powder?
Link Posted: 6/22/2001 11:49:58 AM EDT
Why do states have just "black powder" hunting seasons? And in all reality, he held up a musket just so he wouldn't piss off the antis. The NRA is spineless.

How about a M1 Garand then? It's a classic weapon, a good hunting gun, and as "All-American" as baseball and apple pie. What hunter, target shooter, or military enlist is going to have problems with an M1? Not me. [brown]Evil Jewbroni~[/brown]

Heh, I was thinking about the phrase "baseball or McDonalds", but there's a McDonalds in every 3rd world and euro-trash nation around the globe now, so the simile doesn't quite work. Walnut stock, of course (for the hunters of course). [brown]Evil Jewbroni~[/brown]

Omega man would not be possible today in NYC. Everyone is disarmed. c-rock

I tried making one with a barrett but couldn't find a good enough pic of the rifle. If anyone has a good pic and posts it or e-mails me it, I'll try to make a new one up for them.

"Moses with a Barret"? How about Jesus with a .50 over His shoulder? Yea, and He cleared the road ahead with the power that the .50 delivered unto Him...and it was good [brown]Evil J~[/brown]

Sacrilegious...but since I'm probably on Jesus's sh** list already, VERY nice work my friend. BTW, we are going to hell.

Sacrilegous?? Hardly. I believe it was Jesus Himself who said something along the lines of "Let every man take a sword - if he cannot afford one, then let him sell his cloak to buy one" (somebody can give me the exact quote). Far be it for a guy named "JEW" to interpret Jesus, but I think he'd be proud of us 2nd Amendment guys...firearms are modern day swords, boys and girls. [brown]Evil J~[/brown]

I recall the quote you are referring to. I belive it is in the book of John(?). Manipulating a picture of Jesus carrying the cross is what I was referring to as sacrilegious, not Jesus carrying a rifle.

Jewbroni, here it is. Luke|22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. Luke|22:34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. Luke|22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Luke|22:36 Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one. Luke|22:37 For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. Luke|22:38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

err..does this mean we should ONLY have 2 guns? How about 2 guns for every family member? Do you think pets could count as family members [:D] Urban (damn, I got two many!) Rifleman

This is for CalVet and RBad. Not an AR15, but close enough to your request. sgtar15

True. The hunting crowd generally believes the faulty, evil logic and thinking of the gun-grabbers. Either the hunters don't realize they are in the same line as us, only further back, or they don't really care.

One of the things wrong with the NRA. AR owners need to get more involved and start hammering the board about thinking about US too. Not one AR or Garand in their ads they want me to help finance. Sending that pic to them today! [:(!]
Link Posted: 6/23/2001 1:02:40 PM EDT
Can you have a picture of George W. Bush with an AK-74U Krinkov, and have it pointed at Kommie governor of the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia? Thanks. Matt.

Anyone have a e-mail address for the NRA headquarters? Just went on their site and found it impossible to get an address! Some help? [:O]

The pic of Heston would have been better w/ a pre-ban AR with all its "evil features", or even better, an M16. But I still like it. :)
