Trump is a bozo. Romney's time has passed.

Herman Cain is the real thing. Smart, libertarian-leaning conservative, VERY focused on fiscal issues.

He could turn some shit around couldnt he. He is local here in the Atlanta area.
I'd vote for him.

Has he made any statements of published any positions on the 2nd amendment?  I am a bit late to his candidacy but he did come across pretty well in the two interviews I have heard.

I will vote for him in a heart beat!

I swallowed my distaste for party affiliations when I registered to vote after moving over here, and registered (R) just so I could vote in the primaries.  He's already got mine, unless something big happens before then to change my mind.

I was actually youtubing him last night at work. Well, lunch break. So far I'm really starting to like the guy. I didn't see anything about the Second Amendment though. Maybe I missed it, maybe he hasn't said anything.

But the way I'm looking at it is we're going to get O or a Rino who doesn't like the Second so we need to make damned sure we pack the House and Senate with Tea Partiers that uphold it.

He gets my vote, even if I have to write it in.

I don't want a RINO republican that has a history of politics and backroom deals.

I want a man that is a leader and that man is HERMAN CAIN 2012

He could be a great President or Vice Pesident! I loved when he stated that Obama was afraid of a "Real black man", running for President! I would like to see a Cain/Ryan ticket! Having to choose from the tired, "retread's from last election would suck ball's!!!

I listen to him a lot. He is an old business guy. Not really a radical gun guy but he does state the purpose of the 2nd is to protect us from the govt.
I wouldnt be surprised if he carries but it's not something he really cares about.
Neal carries all the time in Atlanta and mentions it daily. He and Hermain are friends so i'm sure they have talked guns plenty. All in all Hermain is good people. Id will vote for him.

It's a speech, we know what that is worth with the last couple of Presidents who were good with giving speeches and not much else. I would like a large main course of substance with that side of fluff when we select our next President.

Very good to hear.

Thanks to both of you.

He's the best that I've seen from the Republicans thus far. He's actually done something, led something, lived in the private sector. That man seems to have the right stuff, and I'd vote for him in a minute!

Ya, he gets it right.

Excellent speech, just excellent.

I liked the idea of "Defending Father" following Founding Fathers.

If that 'sleeping giant' doesn't awaken quickly, he'll find himself bound & gagged, tied to the tracks with a socialist locomotive bearing down full steam.

Why is it that I'll listen to Mr. Cain and Congressman West and find their ideas and their delivery uplifting but I just cannot find any inspiration or get interested when men like Rubio or Huckabee drone on?

Do some research on the man- he has a solid history.

According to some Mitt Romney has a solid history, others said that John McCain had a solid history, both of them are as far as I am concerned. I will withhold my judgment on Cain until after he has been in the race and made it through a few primaries.

Cain is a rock-solid conservative. Putting that aside, he can actually count money. Something that is lacking in Washington.

There is a whole lot of posturing and positioning going down right now. The Iowa caucuses are going to be a real barn burner!

I'm positive that the plans are developing. It's gonna' boil down to $$$$$. Who has it, who can raise it and who can inspire the middle and the undecided's to open their wallets and cast ballots in numbers greater than they did in 2010!.

Remember, bear in mind and never forget ––- the kenyan wants to spend ONE BILLION dollars on his re-election effort. He'll be unloading the Big Guns in broadside fusillade's. The propaganda mills will be churning; laying down withering, blistering attacks on everyone and everything even remotely related to a GOP candidate.  Herman Cain and Congressman West will be dead center in the cross hairs.

In my mind, there's no doubt that Herman Cain can lead. We know for sure he can make money happen in a big way.

The problem is going to be moving the GOP... unless the GOP can embrace true conservatives with true leadership like Mr. Cain and Congressman West, unless the GOP can embrace a pragmatic conservatism, unless the GOP is willing to spread a truly conservative message versus pablum from right center, unless the GOP can put forth a realistic, sellable plan to get the country back on track from the left turn we've taken under the kenyan's regime... the socialists may well inflict another term of tyranny and oppression on our nation and root their tentacles all the way to the bedrock foundations of our principles to overthrow 240 years of a representative republic and turn it into near absolute democratic tyranny.

Go Herman Cain, Go Allen West. Our nation needs you NOW. 2016 may be too late.

I am of the opinion we could give this guy a chance if we funnel our donations to him and don't get them siphoned off by Ron Paul whom will never win.

It would be interesting to see what phony-baloney bs-ers the media would show themselves to be if this guy ran.
Also, the hate Clarence Thomas crowd would have to get their schtick out of the closet one more time.

I can't decide between Cain/West or West/Cain!!!!!!!!

That would be a great ticket.  I'd then go to my coworker who explained his vote for Obama with, "He's a brutha - I gotta do what I gotta do", and ask him what he's gonna do.

Not much, no. I am trying to get more perspective on him. Thinking ahead to the general election, the independents are what makes the difference. Assuming the economy will still be crap, will religion and social issues play well when unemployment and the economy are what people want someone to fix?

He has the most solid credentials out there of any possible candidate when it comes to creating jobs and the economy.

Hmmm....

Successful business man and entrpreneur vs a community organizer who has never run a lemonade stand?????

Let me think really, really hard over who is better equipped to do s0omething about our economic mess...
