This is a photo of my grandfather. I am wondering if anyone knows what the "3 - P-38's" might mean? Thanks for any ideas!

LOL, yeah, I thought of that too.

No, not sure what he did. He passed away when I was fairly young so I never got to ask...

P-38 could stand for anything really; platoon #, berth #, rack #, locker #, gun station #, etc.
