To all,

I have been hired to teach a college level course on "Basic Police Report Writing" starting in January. Does anyone have any ideas on a textbook/workbook I could use that would be appropriate?

All our report writing is mainly agency-specific.  Amazon has a slew of college level texts on "police report writing," though.

My advanced report writing class text book came from FDLE the state agency that governs LE here in FL. Dont know if yah have anything similar but if yah do yah might want to try there.

As noted by tac45, get in touch with someone with Georgia POST or whatever they call it up there and you may even be able to download enough info for a basic class. As also noted by NorCal, much of the detailed stuff is agency-specific...and boring as all Hell even if it IS important.
