and carry my CCW gun more often.

I have a s&w centennial airweight 38 spl.

the airweight fits in my pocket ok but it's still sort of bulky

to be honest, it sits in the gun safe more than it gets carried.

what's a really comfortable gun and holster combo?

it has to be relatively cheap (but not too cheap)

what's your carry method?

thanks

I really depends on your pockets. If you wear Docker type pants or BDU pants you can drop the 642 in there with a Kramer inside the pocket holster no problem. I think Midway sells them now. They keep the gun right side up and cut down on the printing.

you're a lucky sumbitch to live in a state where you can legally carry and you don't have the fortitude to protect yourself and your family everytime you step out the door?

I'm counting the days until I can afford to leave this damn state and into a free man's land, and you won't carry because it's a little uncomfortable?

I carry a USPc 9mm in a Milt Sparks VersaMax II with a Milt Sparks belt.

Pistol: $550 used
Holster: $110
Belt: $80
Speer Gold Dots: $15 per 20

Not cheap, but well my life is worth something. It isn't very heavy at all and is completely comfortable and completely concealed with a shirt over it.

I'm sorry, if you won't carry one of the easiest ccw 'always' pistols ever then you simply have no interest in protecting your life. Get yourself a cell phone with 911 on speed dial, and carry a police whistle since you clearly expect someone else to come to your rescue.

My preferred way to carry it is just tucked into a handkerchef in my front pocket.

That's the pistol I carry when I don't really feel a need to be armed with a serious protection weapon.

Feeling guility now?

Kahr CW-9

This sucker is .72" thin. Fills the hands pretty well, but it is tiny, and it is 7+1 of 9mm +P+

It is remarkable easy to carry in most any clothes with just a cheap Uncle Mikes IWB holster.

Glock 19 for size reference.

After trying lots of things, I've settled on a Kahr P9 and a Mitch Rosen holster and belt. I don't even realize it's on. In hot weather, I wear a PM9 in an Alessi ankle holster. When I find something better, I'll switch to it.

Every once in a while, I'll revert back to my S&W 3913 or H&K USPc just for old-time's sake, but I'm usually back to the Kahrs after a day.

The 1911 that used to be my issue weapon would literally give me a backache by the end of the day.

wipe the sand out of your vag and carry. Hell I carried a 1911 OWB and a spare mag to college orientation last summer. I was just wearing a tshirt for to cover.

Carry a Glock 19 in a DeSantis SOB. Found that the most comfortable for me.

A S&W Airweight is easy pocket carry. I use an Uncle Mikes In the Pocket Holster. Cheap and holds it in a good position.

The S&W is so easy to carry, I consider it my lazy solution to a G-26 in an IWB holster.
It prints very little, and is light enough to carry in shorts with an elastic waistband.

When I carry the S&W, I carry 12 extra rounds in an old Altoids tin on Speed Strips, in the opposite pocket.
