My girlriend ridiculously claims that all adult human organs are the same size- ie: My heart, in my 6'3 235 lb body is the same physcal size as her heart in her 5'3 105lb body. Lungs, liver, kidneys etc... all the same size. I disagree.
What say you? |
She is W-R-O-N-G and having lost the bet, she owes you the "favor" of your choice!!

Just reference the size of her pie to your ex's. That will end that arguement.
ask her how big her penis is?
EDIT: You're a guy, right? Just thinking that this might not work with two lezzies. |
Have a contest to see who can hold their breath the longest. Since the amount of time you can go without breathing is directly correlated to the size of your lungs, you will probably be able to hold your breath significantly longer, as males have larger lungs than females even of the same body size. Then point at her and laugh as you have just won the argument.

Skin is an organ, and I'm sure your skin is bigger than a 5'3" man's.
She's right! The rest of the body gets filled up with custard filling!
Ask her what the hell she thinks is taking up the rest of the room.

c'mon, it was a light-hearted joke. If I offended anyone, I'm sorry. |

I'm offended, very much so -Storm |

The human heart is approximately the size of your fist. Little person, little fist, big person, big fist. |
Uh oh, now you've gone and done it. |

Years ago I had a girlfriend who swore to me that she and her Mother rode a train from England to the USA. No matter what I said, or how many maps I showed her, I couldn't convince her that no such train ride was possible.
So I let her believe it, and went back to getting my knob polished. It's not like brains were an important factor in my girlfriends in those days. |

As someone who has actually taken them out and compared them side by side, I can confirm that they are definitely different sizes. They come in different shapes and colors as well, although the color differences are more a function of organ health and preservation (if they're dead). I've got some fun stories .
In order to properly evaluate the truth of her claims, you must provide photographic reference material of your girlfriend...

I've had that picture as my avatar since I became a member here, and I never get tired of seeing it. |

Actually, that was what started the argument (more of a debate, I guess, no bad names used, no crockery broken). We were having a cigarette and she wondered how I could take longer/larger "drags" and finish my smoke in half as long as her, since our lungs were the same size. She thought I was somehow able to draw more pressure/volume than her..................ya............... I explained my lungs were larger and had a larger volume, she disagreed. Oh well, at least she's hot. I'd post a pic, but got no way to host it...(hint) |

I'm not skeered! |

Hey 3rdpig: Was your girlfriend blonde? I think that I dated her too.

Tell her she is wrong and should be making sammiches, not arguing with you

What a waste of post 12345. |

Go back to your hybrid car, small brained woman! |
Does she think all girls have the same size breasts? Why would they be different than livers/lungs? |
This has nothing to do with "fisting"... oh wait maybe it does ... nevermind. |
She probably already knows you're right, but she doesn't want to admit it.

A) one can excersize and almost double the size of the heart, and then avoid excersize for several years, and it will shrink back. So, the variance in heart size is more dependent upon the shape one is in than on any predisposed connotations based on X or Y chromosones. I say she wins. |
All things being equal (amount of exercise, etc.), a bigger person will have a bigger heart. She is still completely wrong. |
She's exactly right. That's why organ transplants are as easy as ATM withdrawals.

"The weight of some organs [brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, liver] was ascertained in a group of 1,598 persons who died a violent death, and a comparison was made with values obtained in a group of persons who died of cardiac insufficiency. The figures found were correlated according to sex with age, obesity, lipomatosis, physical size, the presence and stage of atherosclerosis. --Within the violent death group, a correlation was also made between a subgroup with minimal or no presence of atherosclerosis and one with ascertained atherosclerosis. The average weight of the brain was found to be 1419.6 g in men, 1266 g in women; the heart--394.7 or 343 g; kidney--149.0 g or 124.1 g; lungs 1280.0 or 973.4 g; liver--1770.9 g or 1522.0 g."

My sister lost her battle with a liver disease last year. She was just under 5 feet tall and was told a replacement liver would have to come from a child because she was so small. You're gf does not have accurate information. Lois |
That's what I was thinking. I have stared/gawked at innumerable pairs of breasts and they are most certainly NOT all the same size. |
I really don't believe you, TBK1. I'm going to go oogle some for myself, and get back with you. |

more research is definitely in order. |
