I'm in the final year fo my 6 year enlistment in the AF and I'm wanting to get out and go to school. I am one credit shy or getting my CCAF. Is the CCAF worth anything on the outside as far as helping with admission to other schools? I have handful of credits from a community college but not enough for a 2 year degree. What should I be doing in order to get in a real school on the outside? I'm wanting to go to KU or UMKC in the KC area.

The education office on base isn't very helpful for schools outside of the base... any help would be appreciated.

Contact the admissions office of the school you want to attend.  They'll tell you what you need to know.  Requirements vary WIDELY.  Don't be to surprised if they don't give you a lot of credit.
