I'm looking to purchase an assault pack. I want to use it as my bug-out-bag, that I keep loaded and ready with emergency supplies in the closet. I'd like the following options:

-3,000-4,000 cubic inch volume total
-has a good size main compartment with smaller side pockets that I can fill with mags and ammo at last mintue
-*optional* molle compatible.

I like this camelbak, but it only holds 2,550 c.i.:

I've come across some other ones that are nice, but they are $300-$500. Where I'm not going to be using it for work, I think it's a bit overkill to tie up that kind of money. I'd like to stay closer to the $150-$175 mark, but may go a bit higher if needed (the Camelbak sells for well less than retail on the web).

Is the camelbak big enough, and I don't know it? I'll have spare cloths, MRE's, first aid, etc. in it.

Suggestions would be appreciated!

Best packs made are by Kifaru, full line of top shelf gear... they are on the bleeding cutting edge of military pack technology too. Bombproof.

Dram out
