Count yourself fortunate that you are NOT a while Catholic Priest that opposes abortion (and probably supports GWB) and speaks out against it publicly during a sermon.

The _one_ from my old parish in Silver Spring MD did, and was immediately transferred to SE Washington DC. The worst part of the murder capitol of the country.

Hello, I am a white Epicopalian (the conservative Anglican kind; not the gay kind) that supports GWB.

As a side note, I think God let me have a Catholic unit since I'm almost Catholic.

Damn. I lived there from 89-90. 6th & E SE. Nasty. Luckily the hookers in the unit below me watched my place for me during the day. We were on opposite shifts, if you will.

My roomate was Secret Service, thus armed, but if he was working I had a Mossie loaded with buck and ball.

I heard gunfire almost every night I lived there.

BTW, I went to two different Halloween carnivals this past weekend at St. Viators and Our Lady of Las Vegas. Everybody that I talked to was voting for Bush. I only know of one Catholics that is voting for Kerry. His arguement for voting for Kerry was that he didn't want to get beheaded like the people in Iraq. Now if Kerry gets elected, that's a possiblity, but with Bush...come on now.
