In Florida, the "Pork Choppers" were legislators from a group of contiguous counties whose overall boundary was shaped somewhat like a porkchop. They controlled the state for a fair period of time because of disproportionate representation. The population of the area was small, but because Senate seats were assigned by county rather than population, they were able to run things as they pleased - which was in a manner consistent with conservative rural values flavored with cronyism and low-grade corruption. The head Pork Chopper was a man named Dempsey Barron, author of the Dempsey Barron Home County Cane Pole Exemption, which dispensed with the licensing requirement for people fishing in their home counties with cane poles. The crying need for this legislation was revealed when Barron was cited for fishing without a license while angling in his home county with a cane pole.

They were eventually deposed after the USSCt used its magic to discern that the meaning of the Constitution had mysteriously changed over a few years so that while legislative apportionment was once a nonjusticiable political issue, "one man, one vote" under federal court supervision had become a constitutional mandate.

I would wear goggles if I did that. Probably much easier to see without the wind blowing in your eyes. Looks like he is in some sort of harness. Wouldn't want to fall out now. Don't want to feed the pigs.

This will be a big money maker for people who run pig hunting outfits. Not so good for controlling the hog population.

I would pay damn good money to do that.

Yep. Those hogs aren't going anywhere if there is money to be made hunting them.

It sounds really fun, honestly.

You could go out for 2 hours morning, then 2 hours afternoon, for 2 days, and be out what a good deer hunt would cost you.
