I tried to post on DayofDefeatMod.com but for some reason I can't get registered.

Just last night I started to have this weird problem with DOD 3.1.  When joining a game after picking a team I die when I spawn!!!  If I look at the interactive messeages it just says I killed myself.  This happens regardless of what team I pick.  I also noticed that if I don't press any keys I'll stay alive but the minute I try to move I get killed!  

I've already tried reinstalling the HL 1.1.1.0 patch and the DOD 3.1 patch.  DOD has been working fine until this happened and now I can't play at all.  If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

check the keys you have bound and see if the one you think is set for movement is actually set to suicide. Go to your Half life folder--to --DoD folder--config file.
Double check what commands are bound to what keys
As an example I use: bind "g" "kill"

I had a server hack my config files before.   Hate it when that happens! lol
