ETA: leaving my pseudo-rant for posterity's sake. I acknowledge the superiority of Mexican Coke. I didn't realize there was an actual difference and that is the selling point.

Saw this gem at the Killeen, TX Home Depot today. It literally makes me sick to my stomach that this is a selling point. Hispanics should want their products made in America the same as any other AMERICANS. Lowe's and Pepsi for me I guess, until they jump on the same fucking sellout, bullshit bandwagon. The products I can buy and still live with myself shrinks daily.

Why does it make you sick? They arent marketing toward Mexicans. They are letting you know that the soda is from the Mexico plant, meaning that it was made with real sugar and not corn syrup. You herped and you derped at the same time.

IIRC, uses actual real sugar and not the fructose crap that is made in the USA. I'd buy it, any day.

some (not all) of the "hecho en Mexico" cokes are made with cane sugar not HFCS... this is the reason Mexican coca-cola is popular

Reason? Our BULLSHIT GOVERNMENT has destroyed the sugar industry in the US. Research it. Want US MADE Coca Cola? Allow the US sugar industry to operate without the .gov dictating prices. Don't blame Mexico for making better Coca Cola. Don't blame Home Depot for selling a better product than we can make in the US. Learn something about economics and vote correctly.

I have seen both Mexican Coke... some say hi-fructose, some say azucar. The only thing in common is a glass bottle.

If you want American soda with all the sugar... Try Dublin Dr Pepper It's just south of Stephenville.
