Early voting started in Texas today.  I normally vote during the first few days of early voting and I haven't waited in line to vote in many years.  Late this morning I went by my local polling place and found the parking lot full, cars parked up and down the street, and a line about 50 yards out the door.  I'm wondering if this is just a first day event and whether it is a good or bad sign for how things will turn out.

What did the voters look like?

Not Texas but Florida opened today too and there was a nice line going outside the building. Voters were a complete mix, white, black, young, old, men, women.

I actually just printed up, a few minutes ago, the page from the county clerk's site listing early dates/times/locations so I can plan out a few spots in case one is busy/packed.

I'm hoping it's good in the sense that more people are aware and are voting for the first time to turn this country around (GO TRUMP!!), but it could also be the flip side where fraud is being commited when it's easiest.

My son (he's 6) told me yesterday as I drove pass Memorial City Mall area of Houston, that the day before he saw that there were a bunch of Hispanics standing at the corner holding signs saying "Hispanics support Trump" and "Vote for Trump" signs in that area when my wife drove them to HEB nearby.  It made my day hearing that.

They looked like the same bunch that I usually see at early voting.  All races and ages are there but this bunch actually tend toward older and whiter.  Don't be fooled, they have put many of the wrong people in office.
