My wife and I have been looking into a health sharing ministry as an alternative to our ever increasing health insurance costs. Are there any members here who belong to one of these? I only recently heard of this concept, and have some concerns. But, it does seem like a great alternative. There is a provision in the ACA for faith-based health sharing groups to be exempt from the law. If anyone here belongs to one of these, I would be interested in hearing your experiences.

Do it!

For a family of 4 I am paying 300 a month plus some 45 bucks every quarter for catastrophe. Anyting under 500 we pay cash, anything over is covered 100%.

beats the fuck out of Obama care. I save over $900 a month. Fuck you Obama

You have to attend Christian services regularly and not smoke or drink.
