I have an old cartridge apparently from Frankford Arsenal that I am trying to identify.  I am interested specifically in what date it was manufactured, and any other interesting information.

It appears to be approximately a .30 round, with a headstamp of "F A 1 1|2".  The "1|2" may in fact be just "12," or something else.

Please see these pictures:

Does anyone know what this round is?

Looks like a 150 gr FA M1906 Ball round. They later swithed to the heavy 172 grain M1 Ball.
