Not counting things that were on infomercials but you bought it the store. Have you ever purchased anything over the phone / internet after seeing it on one of those "buy now!" commercials / infomercials?

No I never did, I worked for the call center for the place that makes the buzzem fishing lure for a day

They were pretty good, too,IIRC.


The bamboo steamer fell apart pretty quickly, though.

One of those huge blow-up pools by the Aero-Bed people. Kids loved it. Wife was pissed.

She got me back years later when she bought some huge make-up kit from a Victoria Principal info-mercial. Her excuse was She was up all night from prescribed meds during an asthma spell.

Red Devil Grill. Worked great but then my parents/grandma found out it had a recall because it would shoot out flames really really high. (I thought it was cool, people driving by and seeing my 15' flaming hamburger and freaking out.) But anyway they trashed it.

I bought a Magic Bullet and a Pasta Express..Pasta Express works great, Magic Bullet is a great slushie/Milkshake/Mixed Drink maker, but thats about it
