To answer your question YES!!!

That person was so full of shit I cannot I believed his stories for years. Then, by alking to his old friends I was told.. that it is all BS.

I guess I give people the benefit of the doubt. I tell the truth so i expect people to do the same.

yep, same here.  I used to have the utmost respect for one of my coworkers, old guy, very very religious.  As the years past I saw that he just hid behind his religion, stole from the company, didn't care about anyone other than himself.  Not a stand up guy, everyone though he was.
He always took credit for other peoples work, and blamed others for his failures.  Still he went to church every sunday and worked fixing the church up ( with stolen funds ).  But such is life.  Don't let the actions of one man change how you look at men.

Most people will dissapoint you, eventually. That's why people are human. Move past it and don't have such high expectations.

Nope , I've been a cynic since my sister told me there was no Santa Claus .
After that EVERYONE was suspect

Yup ... then you find out, they're just human too. That they have their own motives and agenda.

I think every one does, but some are more full of shit than others.

Not really. I've been lucky in that I've been able to spot full of shit at a relatively early stage.

Yup.  But, years ago I pretty much came to the conclusion that every damned one of us is weird, flawed and probably a little nuts.  It's like when you find out that adults really don't have all the answers.  Behind every door of every house in America are a bunch of perverted weirdos full of bullshit.  Some just have better public masks.  Mine ROCKS!

Yes.  Most of them currently hold elected office.

Yes.

However, I have been lucky in that I have lived long enough that some of the people that I thought were heavily flawed turned out not to be such.
