I think for the most part they get to *be* mods/staff because they have long track records of behaving.

Arock was site staff at the time of his banning, IIRC. He called TheRedGoat's employer and told them he had child porn on his work computer as a way of getting back at him over a stupid photoshop TRG had created from a picture of Arock.

There is tale of a staffer who made efforts to ruin the standing of an ambiguously gay member by taking things into real life. According to lore he was banned.

Seriously.. I think they should cycle mods in-n-out through this board cuase some of them have power/god issues. Maybe give a mod 1 year then bring in someone else and so on. This keeps everyone in check so they dont get use to all that power...

Selling his account was one of them, but it didn't permaban him. 1) Posting a picture of Arabic characters inscribed on toilet paper to make it look like it was Koran toilet paper. 2) Trying to sell his account. 3) Posting his e-mail linked to a group buy.
