Can you please tell me what this means when seen in a case index record?[As high-lighted in red. Does this mean the perp possible had AIDS? The victim? Why does it say DEJ/HIV/AIDS?
Sorry to sound totally ignorant here, but I really am regarding this. And need to know.
Hope I got the right forum for my question.

I don't see any reason why DUI and Driving on Suspended/Revoked License charges would cause any court record to divulge any medical info.

What you're seeing could be a standard line included in the case details that simply indicates that AIDS/HIV testing isn't required Looks like the court decided it as a matter of protocol, since both entries are in the court record at the exact same time (EXON could very well mean defendant is exhonerated from needing such testing for the case to continue)

Cases where the court could require such testing would be, for example, if defendant had committed a sexual assault, or had been injured in an attack and got blood onto a victim or unrelated third party.

This is all just guess on my part, because I'm not familiar with CA court records as well as I am with IL.

NorCal_LEO might be able to give you a definitive answer.

Only guessing what most any of that means, I was going to say maybe it's DEJ/HIV and just coincidence it's followed by AIDS EXON (Exhonorated?)or AIDS SENT (Sentenced?)

NPD hit it on the head.

Denied Entry of Judgement until HIV(AIDS) testing can be completed.

Used mostly in sex crime cases where the Def. has to test before sentencing/plea. DA can modify/amend charging document if test is positive. This is pretty generic in those type of cases and doesn't necessarily indicate the person actually has HIV. In your case, the only reason I can see that it would be on a 23152 case is blood exposure of additional victims, fire, ems or police.
