I went over to lurk at the DU to see how the crazies are doing today and I was unable to view ANY of the forum threads.
Can you IT geeks take a look and tell us if someone has caused them to crash?

The servers have reached their BS capacity ratings.
I would have loved to read the thread which is something like "I'm so sick of this "flip-flop" issue...It should have never been allowed." Tell that to flipper himself! |

As difficult as it is I feel that it is crucial to go ever there at least a couple of times a week, you have to know your enemy if you want to destroy him. I also like to know what there hot issues of the day are, you never know what those loons are going to be prattleing about in public, and it is good to be prepared. |

weren't they going to do something closer to election time that would prevent non registered/signed in people from viewing stuff?
I know I read that they were turning off the new user registration system until after the election |

If it was hacked. As soon as it comes back up, they'll blame Bush for it. They'll say he did it to steal the debate and then the election.

I was there earlier. The main page seemed okay, the discussion pages looked okay. When I clicked on some of the discussions I got errors, others were okay.
At least as okay as DU ever is.

I tried registering there but they didnt accept my account. Anyways, I would like some one to post a thread about how they just received their draft notification for duty in Iraq and how they are going to Canada tomorrow to avoid going to war.
