I'm looking for a Preban Colt A2 government model carbine. They have em but pricy as hell. Are these guys legit? reliable? Their prices seem WAY high. --RR

Have you checked Guns America, or sturmgewehr.com?

I emailed Charles a few years back before buying off of this board. He's a decent guy to deal with and as I understand it, all of his rifles are in mint condition. Yes, you may pay more for a particular model, but with exceptional customer service and you're sure to get a rifle in better condition than advertised. That's at least based on my experience and knowledge of Prebanarms.com from few years ago, so take it FWIW. Oh, and the $6K rifle? (I added the italics.)

Well, hell, I've got a limited edition Colt M4 I'll sell you guys. It's an edition of 1 of 1, the only marvl-owned Colt in existence. Price is a bargain at $12,000. That's $4,000 off my regular list. [rolleyes]

They seem to have nice stuff, but I just can't see myself laying out the kind of money most things are listed for. Did I mention they have nice stuff?[:)]

Yes, the price, list price and "you save" stuff is nothing but marketing hype. That I do admit.

I have never bought a firearm from him but I did buy a brand new sterling 40 rnd mag from him at a gunshow for $35.00 about 3 months ago [:)]. He had an Uzi with him at the show that was very mint. I told him I thought his prices were a little on the high side but he assured me that all his guns are better than his has them listed and he would give "a little" on the prices. He did seem to be a very nice honest guy.
