I know it's easier to call it the 4th but I think it's better to call it what it was originally: INDEPENDENCE DAY! Take a minute to think about all the people that have fought and ones that will fight in the future to keep this country free. Mark

I rode in my local community's parade this morning. It was a very touching and humbling experience. I rode with a Vietnam Veteran and watching people come up to him, shake his hand and tell him and say "Thank you for your service" was very emotional. I also got to meeet the Honorable Sam Johnson, a Sailor and Marine recently back from Iraq (the sailor is getting married at our Post tomorrow) and many other heroes. God Bless and Happy Birthday America.
