There was some mention of the OICW in the February issue of Small Arms Review. In the interview with L. James Sullivan, he came down pretty hard on the OICW.
"The OICW will probably end up like the boondoggle, the Advanced Combat Rifle (ACR) program...the program was a total failure." Check it out on Page 79 |

Anytime you mix expolsives with electronics you get trouble. The OICW will eventually show this is true. I agree with the boondoggle statement. I've heard nothing good about it.
